FTIR Spectroscopy
We worked with a client to integrate a commercial FTIR spectrometer into a complete data acquisition system. Our software provides full control of the spectrometer, allowing the user to continuously acquire FTIR spectra, automatically compute the concentation of more than a dozen independent gas species, and synchronize the timing of these data streams with data collected from sensors throughout the rest of the testing apparatus.
Microwave Spectroscopy
By updating the data acquisition hardware and incorporating custom DAQ software, we were able to improve the aquisition speed of our client’s instrument by over 100x. This allowed us to reduce the total spectrum aquisition time, while simultaneously increasing resolution. As the instrument was susceptible to drift over long time periods, this had the added benefit of greatly improving the accuracy of the resulting data.
Remote Gas Analyzer Calibration
We developed a custom gas manifold and associated control hardware to allow for remote operation of gas analyzers. Using our custom software and hardware, with one click, a technician can run and document a multi-component gas analyzer calibration on an analyzer located over 100 ft away. Users can also take manual control of the gas input stream selection, if desired.
